Hello, I have an Excel 2000 sheet I am able to bring data into and map to certain fields via the Query Wizard, no problem. But, it seems that I could do this through VBA automation and/or macro which might be better. Could someone show me an example of how to do this with VBA automation? My concern is that the data needs to be real time so, is it possible to have the data updated while the sheet is open, or does the user need to refresh the sheet or open it again? I've just never done this so I'm not sure what is the best way to approach this.

Thanks in advance,
CB

search these forums for ADO and Excel and you will find plenty of examples.

As for the refresh bit you will need to do it yourself through a macro, also using ADO
