Populating a Timberline pervasive database with outlook contacts

I developed a Microsoft Access 2007 database for a company which housed construction data, but additionally, contact information for subcontractors. I populated these tables using Automation with Outlook 2007. They have a similar database in Sage Timberline (pervasive), and want similar results.

My problem is that I haven't used ODBC or Timberline very extensively, and want to know the best method of transferring data from Outlook to Timberline.

I obviously don't expect how-to instructions, I just need direction for my research. Any suggestions?
