I need to populate a field in another table based on data matching a filter in my prime database, i.e. place an "X" in tblITR_Instrument.E01 for tblInstrument.instrument=”Y”. The tables have a relationship field, this is to show whether or not an action is needed to be done. I have tried to run an Update query unsuccessfully, however I believe it was due to the fact I’m using Access 2002. Possibly a bit of code will work as several fields are to be updated. I appreciate any assistance in this matter. Thanks much for your help.
