Popular ways to track user web history

Hello, I tried doing some google searching and couldnt really find to much relevant info, I was curious how any of you currently go about tracking user web visits and how you lock down your IE enviroment. Mainly just curious on how you audit users online activity.

Typically you would use a Proxy, such as ISA server. There are also tracking/filtering products such as WebSense, SurfControl, or St. Bernard. It all depends on what you are looking for.
