Pops-stop trackware help

Hello,
I had a problem with new browser windows opening up with advertisements in them. I did not find anything through scans with spybot,adaware pro so downloaded spydoctor, spynuker and anything else to try and get rid of what is called pops-stop trackware (process is called netsync.exe). I have cleaned out the registry, all files, ran hijack this and all looks fine, but this shows up and will not go away c:\winnt\ISSM0064.DAT
Any ideas of how to get this off my computer?

Have you tried an anti-virus scan?
Take a look at this.

Thanks for the reply! I am in the process of trying symantecs directions to remove this off my computer, slow go but will keep you posted.
