Does anyone know of any security implications that would be associated with using pop3. We currently use VPN but some execs complain of its slow approach to opening email and have been tossing around the idea of pop3. Asside from normal firewall settings, and the routing tab in exchange, are there any other caveats of "gotchas" I should worry about. Honestly I would like to persuade them not to use pop3, but I may lose that battle. Any ammo against using pop3 would be helpful. Thanks for any help.

You can use POP3 with SSL if your worried. Port 993 or something like that. Dan
