Greetings,
I have a client running Exchange 2000 w/latest service packs [under SBS 2000] and they lost the POP3 connector functionality for outside mailboxes... I had just recently installed POP3 client capabilities (we had the POP3 Connector running for a long time without problems, but they had just started to use POP3 clients to connect to Exchange...), and to make it more confusing, they had a system reboot today for reasons they couldn't tell me [most likely someone kicked out the power cord, once again...]
The POP3 Connector service starts, and reports no errors in the Event Log, but it isn't retrieving remote POP3 email like it used to.
When you try to go to Exchange Systems Manager, it complains about the POP3 Connector snap-in not being able to load, so I can't get into the POP3 Connector properties to see what is up.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance...
Paul
