I do not know that much about Exchange because I am quite new to it and have to teach myself how to use it, so I apologize if this is a stupid question. Here's my problem.
One of my users cannot access his email. I'm using POP3 with Outlook and I get a POP3 Server timeout error when attempting to send and recieve. I restarted the Microsoft Exchange POP3 service and the SMTP service and it didn't help. The user is able to access the files on the server, just not email. When he clicks "Send and Receive" it shows "1 of 7 messages recieved" and stops there until the timeout error comes up. I sent 2 emails to him from another (external) email address and clicked "Send and Receive" again and it read "1 of 9 messages recieved". I logged him off and back on but that didn't help either.
Any thoughts on what might be the problem?
Thanks
