POP3 proxy server

Does anyone know of a good POP3 proxy for Linux/UNIX??
I don't run a mail server, we have mail servers hosted by our company. So I just need something that can catch attachments and drop them if necessary. From what I can tell, Squid will not do POP3/SMTP proxying, just FTP. I found one POP3 proxy called Perdition, if anybody has used it or knows of a better solution, I would really appreciate your input.
