My colleague has an AOL B'Band a/c and uses their browser and email package. I've set him up a new Yahoo email a/c and POP3 enabled it. I've tested it on my own system and it works great (using BT as ISP), but when I put it onto his, it does a 'Send & Recieve' when there are no incoming or outgoing messages but when there is a message going out on the SMTP it brings up an error message.
10-15 minutes later, it goes and is delivered. Can anyone please explain a workaround? I've increased the server timeout time from 1 to 2 minutes but it hasnot helped. I rang AOL but they told me to contact M'Soft.
