have an end user who is setup for POP3 mail He has two profiles. One is set for IMAP to the on our server. The other profile is setup for POP3 here are his settings
user name@domain name.com
Username@domainname1.com and he also recives mail from Username@domainname2.com who fowards to domain1
Email server is email.domainname.com incoming and out going.
Sometimes he sends an e-mail over the dialup and it says it’s undeliverable. Yet the person on the other side gets the e-mail. Sometimes it just says it sent but it does not. Here is the really strange issue. Sometimes even thought he is setup to show username@domainname2.com he comes through as username@domainname1.com
I don’t get that I looked and his account is setup right. Do you think the relay between domains could be causing a problem?
Here is my trouble shooting path. I am going to send e-mail to each address. And see witch ones he gets also going to have him let me know how they came through. At this point I’m a little lost because I feel this should be working. Any thought you might have will be much appreciated.
