Hi All, I am having problems trying to get POP3 and SMTP running through ISA server. When I do an nslookup from a client PC to the mail server I get the following error.
C:\>nslookup mail.uk2.net
*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.10.1: Non-existent domain
DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.168.10.1
Non-authoritative answer:
Name: mail.uk2.net
Address: 213.239.57.89
At the moment the ISA server is a PDC on my internet network, this machine also houses both the DNS and DHCP services. The server is connected to the internet using a Cable modem. The server has two network cards. One is for the internal network and the other is to connect to the Cable Modem. Browsing the internet is fine from the client PC's. I have setup DNS forwarders for my ISP DNS servers on my DNS server. I have all the necessary Packet Filters and Protocol rules for POP3, SMTP, DNS ect. and there is no TCP/IP packet Filtering set on any of the network cards.
Please Help
Regards
