POP3 authentication

hi, fellows.
I turned on the POP3 and SMTP and IMAP in GWIA. It works fine for me from the GWIA monitor. However, I can't log on POP with any usernames and passwords. The POP3 error is Authentication error. I am doubt whether I typed the right username. Is there a rule or something on the username in pop and sMTP?
For example:
User:admin
or user: admin.staffpo
or user: admin.staffpo.gwdomain
Actually, I tried all of them. But I just can't pass it.
Any ideas?

nope it's just your mail account name

so scooby doo

would use login name sdoo and then his password "givemeasnack"
