Hi,

This might be a really question and have an even simpler solution but can I make a small pop-up window in a projector exe using a movie clip as the trigger?

Basically I want a small window to appear if the user click the movie clip. The user can read the information and then close the small window. I don't want the main movie to change scenes, I just want a pop-up to appear up front. Using the movie clip as a button is not the issue here, it just how to add a pop-up without changing scenes.
I presume that I'll have to create another movie clip that will be the pop-up. Then on the OnClipEvent of the original mc, load the new popup_mc??!! Is this correct?

Thanks for any ideas..

Cheers,

If I've understood you correctly, several ways to achieve that are possible. The "info" mc, can be be there from the start, but simply set to be invisible to start with. When the other mc is rolled over, or clicked on, then the "info" mc is simply made visible. Re-set to invisible when the user closes it.
