i have added a pop up calendar for users to use and for some reason when i query the dates selected by the calendar it does not seem to register the date values. i have queried the same data and manually typed in the dates and then it works.

the referenced text boxes are formated to date. i have tried this 3 ways and all end up the same. does anyone have any answers?

have you checked to see exactly how the dates are being returned by the calendar control?

hi
i have found that if i use >=firstdate and <=lastdate it doesnt work. however when i use between firstdate and lastdate it works.

i have always used the first one to ensure i get the 1st and last day of the month.

Between firstdate and lastdate will include the firstdate and lastdate inclusively, unless the dates are stored as general dates (with time included), and that will get the first date inclusively but not the end date inclusively because it will take the date shown plus 12:00:00 AM which does not include that date. So, if using time as well, you would need to use the lastdate + 1 in order to make it inclusive.

Hope that helps for understanding why it would seem that sometimes it doesn't get what you ask for.
