Pop Up Ads

One of the computers in our network is having a problem. After the user has closed internet explorer, pop up ads keep showing up. I was wondering if any one knew what may be causing this? Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi,

This sounds like the sort of thing that spyware would do.
I would run Spybot or Ad-Aware over the machine and see what it comes up with.

If the ads are coming up after or before the browser is open, there is a good chance that the computer has spyware installed. Run spybot and clean it up.
