pop server problem

Sometimes we try to receive messages from outlook 2000 but returns an error the pop server can't find. Seems this problem is only windows xp pro machines.

What is the problem?

Sometimes the authentication can get lost. Some ISPs need repeated authentication. Are you doing a Send and Receive when this fails? Right after the failure, see if you can do a Send with a dummy mail to yourself. Then try Receiving after that. Let me know.
