POP Duplicate Line Items

Ok this one is just weird.

First I'll start off we've had problems with our purchase order reports printing off (or lack of printing off) before, so I devised a solution using Crystal Reports and VB to fix this problem (also to add a timer).

Now on to the problem. A couple of times our purchasing department contacted me about line items duplicating on our purchase order printouts. This has happened both with the built in Great Plains purchase order printout and with the Crystal Reports solution.

Now I've done a search on these documents in the POP10110 table, and the line items are not being duplicated in the database - and after confirming that, I've run a print and it prints duplicate line items.

Anyone have any ideas on what could cause the line items to print doubles?

i've seen this problem long-time ago. one reason this would happen is if the item is a kit or the line order is corrupted. Did you try running Reconcile on the POs? What errors did you get?

I'm going to be doing Reconcile shortly so I'll know the errors soon.

That does make sense, I've been noticing the salespeople getting sloppy entering new part numbers.

I'll run a reconcile and get back with the results.
