Importing tif files is a snap. But the quality is poor compared to the original file. Is there a way to increase the resolution used during import?

Thanks

P.S. I am using Visio 2000 Professional

why TIFF?? they are very large compared to JPEGs and the quality is so close that I doubt you could tell. JPEG import very nicely.. and export most of the time :)

Thanks for the response. I replied to your post a couple weeks ago, but I don't know what happened to it...it's not in the thread. Anyway, I work for a large company and all our drawing files are in TIF format...I can't change that. I suppose I could change the format from TIF to JPG in some other program before importing it to Visio. This seems a little convoluted. The real problem is that Visio appears to convert from the TIF format at about 50 dpi when it should be done at about 300 dpi...it seems like there should be a way to make this adjustment.

Thanks again...Seaside
