Poor Print Quality Horizontal lines

I have a HP Officejet 635 (all in one). I am able to
print with it but the quality is very poor. Every second
line or third line is smudged with a horizontal line
right through the middle of it. I have installed a new
cartridge but continue to have the same problem. There
is no specifc pattern to the smudging. Any suggestions
would be appreciated.

I'm guessing that you have ink build up on the underside of the ink cart carraige assembly. Try taking out the Ink Carts and with a small rag doused with isopropyl clean the underside of the carraige assembly. It may work.
