Poor performance when enabling DEBUG via registry

I tried enabling Tape and Databse engine debugging via the registry ( see CA-Arcserve Document number 18130), and my backup job performance slowed to a crawl. Throughput crawled down to a few MB per minute. I guess there is overhead involved with enabling this? Any one else experience this?

I have since disabled debugging on these engines, and looks like things are a bit better.

I have not experienced this type of effect from any of the debugs.

Put the engines in debug mode only for troublshooting purpose.
