Poor Performance of Windows 98 running Notes Client?

Has anybody seen really poor performance on pc's running Windows 98 with the Notes Client and other software running?

I believe that there was mention of a Notes memory leak in earlier versions of Notes R5 client. Can anybody confirm this?

Which version of the Notes Client?

is it pulling program/data files from a network share?

has the client been upgraded from R4.x? etc.

a bit more information about your config might be usefull.
