We have a customer who had a POS system for many years called Dolphin. The POS could toggle the lights on the pool tables when the timer was started on the check and then when you stopped the timer, it would shut the lights off. They basically wrote an interface to a device from a company called X10. Model CM11A is their serial device. X10 replaced that device with a USB device.
I am wondering if anyone has ever written an interface to it? For our POS, we would probably send an XML file out to turn on or off as that is the simplest way to automate it.
I know X10 has software that can just communicate direct to it which might work short term.

I know Micros Retail Systems in NJ had a pool table interface for the 3700 back when I worked for them. That was about 14 years ago, but they may be able to point you in the right direction.

If it is a 3rd party interface, maybe the folks that wrote it still have it. XML would be the way to go.
