Is there any particular order in which the lines in the pool are selected by the Merlin Magix system ? I have four outgoing lines and want to have unlimited calling on 2 of the 4 lines. How can I ensure that the the two lines with unlimited calling are used first and then if they are being used then the other two lines are used for all outgoing calls.

Thanks
Abhijit

The lines in an individual pool are more or less in a circular hunt, in the order in which you assign them to the pool, KINDA!

In the case of 4 lines, the system will use the first line you assign and then the second and so on, UNLESS ONE IS BUSY, and it will select the next one in order, but it does this in a circular fashion.

In other words, if it has used line 1, then 2 then 3 then 4, and one is the next one available, it will take one.

Now, to do what you want to do, I would create 2 pools.

Put the 2 lines you wish to get the most use in the 70 Pool and the other 2 in the 890 pool.

Then, in ARS POOLS make the 70 pool your first choice and the 890 pool your second choice.

That way, the 890 pool WILL NOT BE USED unless both lines in the 70 pool are busy.
