I have a magix switch with 15 lines that appear on the operators console and I have also put the lines into a pool [70]. How do I put a pool button on all the other sets so they can dial out .When they hit 9 before dialing the rest of the number they should get outside but unable to. please advise thx J

TO assign a pool button, go to system programming, extensions, lines/trunks, enter extension, touch any line button that is in the pool, this will add a pool button. It will also make the pool button an immediate ring button, so you go to cntr-prg for each extension, touch the pool button and dial *35 for no ring or *36 for delay ring. BUT I would check ARS tables and ARS restriction levels for the extensions first to find out why they can't dial out now. The default ARS restricion level for extensions should be 3, I think. Print ARS tables though and make sure someone has not monkeyed with them. Post them here if you don't see the problem.

thanks for your help it seems to have worked
thx J
