We have installed 2 VSX 8000 Polycoms behind an Avaya S8300
System using MM720 card we have no issues call between sites in US but just get the RNA when calling International
doing a list trace shows calls going out just don't see it synch via polycom's display I can see it try to link up with the display on the lower bottom left handside ( 386K ) 64 x 6 channels being displayed via circles on lower left
All calls route over ISDN_PRI
see the 6 circles where the bottm lower left is Green when call starts and the others stay in gray condition we are using Verizon for LD provider is it possible they are not passing the Data information with internationl calls.
Even tried a few of Polycom's international test #'s
without mcuh luch just rings and never truly connects
I guess we could try different speeds but since we had no issues in US calls I thought verizon was passing all information through as they said they except voice / data
calls being data transmission via polycom
I have read that if you have AT&T as LD provider you provide them with the spid numbers so they can route all
calls correctly ( makes sense ) but Verizon would not know our numbers from Adam ( didn't ask and when I expained they said they don't care as they pass along everything and block nothing )
just curious if anyone had run into this one
thank you for any and all posts
Cheers
