I have a customer with a analog Polycom speakerphone and we are trying to conference calls with it. has anyone had any luck with that?

PS: I know there is a Nortel version but it does not have the external speakers.

Thanks

I have never been able to perform the "conference feature" using an analog device. The OEM'd Norstar Polycom will do it.

Make or take your first call.
Press "flash" 3 (or "flash" * 3) - you should get internal dialtone.
Enter your next number and connect to caller.
Press "flash" 3 (or "flash" * 3). You should be connected.

Let me know if this works. My memory is sketchy.

I think you have to use flash*2 in combination to pull the first call from hold. I don't remember the exact procedure from the manual, but I do remember both these were necessary.

Thanks for the correction, curly. When you don't use a feature too often, they get hazy. I'll have to save that doc.
