Polycom SoundStation6000 and 7000 cannot contact boot server - Mitel

Hi Everybody

I am having a bit of trouble setting up 2 new conference phones each on a different 3300, but they are both getting the same issue. The only configuration I have done is creating 2 phone accounts\number in OP's manager based on what our current IP5000's have and logging onto web interface to mimic the settings there too.

Upon rebooting the IP6000 or 7000 I get the error "Could not contact boot server. Using existing configuration"

It then proceeds to the normal home screen where it flashed the incorrect date and refusing to make any phone calls.

Any ideas?

I have read a few posts regarding a TFTP server but I am a bit of a novice here.

Not to worry, got it working. Seems to have been a firewall rule

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
