Is the Polycom SoundStation2 Avaya 2490 digital conference phone compatible with the digital ports on IPO? The spec sheet says "compatible with any Definity voice port that supports the 6400, 7400 or 8400 series phones."

As far as i know it is not. I have not heard of any digital polycom that will work with the IPO. If you get it to work let us know.

key word, any "Definity" voice port. Those always seem more forgiving then IPO DS ports, but it's worth a try if you can. Dont expect support from Avaya though, they always refer to the "supported unsupported" lists as gospel
