I have a Polycom Soundstation ip4000. I understand it is possible to put Nortels 2033 firmware on it so it can connect to a BCM. Does anyone know how to do this?

It should be like any other IP device, just plug it in and see if it uploads.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Ha! no you cant just plug it in and see if it uploads. Although the Polycom and 2033 use the same circutry, the Polycom firmware uses SIP and the BCM uses H323.

I need to somehow force 2033 firmware onto it

Sorry I gave you wrong info.
