I have an SV8300, we recently purchased several polycom ip conference phones, I cannot get the polycom to register with the 8300, I have several spectralink wireless phones and set it up the same way, I'm obviously missing something

Have you gone into the Polycom set up menu and adjusted the SIP port and system IP address/SNM/GW?

I might be completely wrong here but may give you an idea. I have an 8500, and in there, there are different licenses for NEC's SIP phones, different licenses for NEC's soft-phone, and yet different license for 3rd-party SIP-phone. And the Polycom (or any other non-NEC) SIP phone counts as 3rd-party.

Check that out.
