Hello We are trying to us the polycom m100 software to connect to a HDX 8000 unit that is outside our network. We tried creating a services rule to allow all to the ports specified by Polycom. we are able to connect but then it just drops.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? We are using the CISCO ASA gui.

Do you have logging enabled so you can get some visibility into what is going on??

No I just checked there is no loging. How do I turn it on?

Ok I just notice that the outside service rule is not letting anything past back. I see the packets going out but it does not look like it is accepting the return.

Ok I conducted a trace and here is what it give blocking:

config
nat (inside) 1.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
match ip inside any outside any
dymanic translation to pool 1 (180.XXX.XXX.XXX [Interface PAT])
translate_hits=87614,untranslate_hits=4688

Any help from anyone? The other thing is, if there is a way to reserve an IP from the DHCP table, I think that I can take care of this issue.
