I currently have a Polycom FX unit Release 5.1 that I would like to
connect to the back of my Definity G3R by interfacing through a TN
464 F circuit pack. The video unit use to be connected in this
fashion before it was relocated to another facility. There is a trunk
group created that has 6 members from the PRI Trunk group.
Please note that the Polycom unit already has the ISDN interface
brick at the unit.
Model #Model - PX4-XX20
Serial # - 82004900153DA8
P/N - 2201-09196-001
ISDN PRI External Module
PRI T1 00153D
Can you please tell me what the ISDN pin out would be from the telco
cable that connects to the carrier? Is there a reference document
that illustrates the connectivity? Do they make a simple telco to RJ-
45 adaptor that can connect directly to the carrier with regard to
the corresponding TN464 location?
Also does the Polycom unit need to TAC the trunk group?

Any help is appreciated

from the 110 hardware the TN464 uses V/OR pair one and V/GR for pair two, they go to pins 1,2and4,5 of an RJ45. If it does not work flip the pairs. All T1's use 1,2 pair one transmit, and 4,5 pair two receive of an RJ45.

Thanks Mike I will give it a try. Is the RJ-45 jack wired as 568A or 568B pinout? The difference is the wh-or & wh-gn pair on the positioning. 1,2,3,& 6 on the pins.

Thanks

best is to use a female RJ, ignore the colors and just use the numbers on the jack. 568A and B and all jacks have the same number-pin. then use a cat 5 jumper to connect.
