Polycom 8030 wireless handset

Hi Guys,

Have any of you guys any experience in configuring a Polycom 8030 wireless handset in SIP mode onto a Mitel 3300 running MCD 4.2

I have tried connecting the Polycom handsets via a Trapeze wireless network, if the handset is in SVP mode (which i know shouldn't be!! just testing) it seems to connect to the wireless network, and i get a response stating NO SVP response - when i have the handset in Wi-Fi mode, it doesn't seem to connect to the wireless network and i get NO NET FOUND, NO WMM APS.

The Trapeze network has been configured with WMM enabled, and I can access the Wireless SSID from my laptop..... so i know i don't have a problem with the SSID.

Any help or guidance would be great.

You setup the polycom hanset for WMM?

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

Andy, i know it going to sound silly but:

1> Check to make sure you have the lastest version of SIP firmware on the phone.

2> Double-check you settings for WMM using the view-certified guide from Polycom, which is available on there site.

3> Use the site survey tool on the phone to see if the SSID shows up there...
