Hi,

We have an issue with using speed dials that contain pauses on Polycom 6000 devices.

The speed dial works fine on our 5340 and 5312 handsets, but when using a SIP device the call hangs once it gets to the pause and sends the second set of DTMF to the network.

We are using an MXe 3300, and we're at Version 8.

The actual number we use is similar to 912341234123P123412341234#, as in the P and the # appear in the same place.

Any help would be appreciated.

is this a quick dial number on the phone?

You will better to setup a system speed dial to this number in the system speed dial assignment form and then assign this number on to the Polycom

E.g. S/C 2000 = 1233456789P123456p1234#

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry, this is a system speed call. I have got it working on SIP devices and IP handsets now, but it just doesn't work for analogue handsets. I have checked the COS and COR settings also. All appear correct.
