I have seen several posts here about failed attempts to connect cisco devices to non-cisco vpn appliances. I would be interested in knowing what combinations people have had success with and what they have not. Please indicate the method and type of encryption that was attempted.

PIX to Nortel Contivity - Success using 3DES and MD5 hashing
PIX to CheckPoint - Success using 3DES and SHA
PIX to Netscreen - Success using 3DES and SHA
PIX to Symantec firewall appliance - Can only seem to get Phase I. Still working on this...
PIX to Gauntlet - No success, but I don't think it's Gauntlet. It's us not knowing a whole lot about Gauntlet.
