I'm trying to impliment a policy map on our router to prevent users from excessive FTP & This is taking up a great deal of our bandwith. Whenever I impliment the policy map, I go to the internet and try to download an FTP file, and I get it at about 150kb/s. I want to limit the download to 40kb/s. Here is the sample configuration.
class-map match-all ftp_limit
match access-group 113
!
!
policy-map internet_out
class ftp_limit
bandwidth 40
police 40000 1000 1000 conform-action transmit exceed-action drop
!
interface FastEthernet0/0
description connected to EthernetLAN
bandwidth 102400
ip address xxx
ip access-group 110 in
no ip proxy-arp
service-policy output internet_out
ip route-cache flow
no ip mroute-cache
speed 100
full-duplex
no cdp enable
!
access-list 113 permit tcp any any eq ftp
I've searched the internet, and cannot find anything which would prevent this from working. Any ideas?
Thanks,
