I'm guessing but, I beleive my standard user policy has become corrupt. While reviewing the policy, Console One crashed. Ever since then, I am unable to open the policy. Says it is being edited (or in use) by another user. Yes, I have confirmed.. no other user is accessing the policy. Is there any way to unlock this policy?

there is a doc on this

you delete a directory
something like policy in use or something
type the excat message you get into the knowledge base and you get the tid

then delete the key and your in biz - it does it every now and then - gpo's are sluggish on c1 - it probably hadnt crashed

There is a TID on this and it IS a Windows directory you have to remove. I can't remember either, but as Terry said, put the Exact error message into the knowledgebase and it will come up.

Thanks terry712 and marvhuffaker

I've found the fix and here is it.

Look for folder C:winnt\system32\gpInUse on the workstation you are running ConsoleOne on. If it's there, rename it
