in my workplace we are using windows 2k server as the domain controller and we are also usins win 2k server for terminal services. when users log in, they go to the terminal services which gets authenticated by the active directory users and computers within the domain controller. i am trying to create a policy for the users in the office, but is all that happens is that when i create the policy it only affects the domains and not the clients.

Have you tried to put the Terminal Server users in a seperate group, and apply the policiy to that specific group ? Peter Van Eeckhoutte

you see the groups are all stored on the domain controller,, which is the active directory users and groups, you cannot create groups within the terminal server as this can only be done in the domain controller, know if you run the microsoft management console on the terminal server, you then have to have the dns on the topmost position to look at the domain controller from the terminal server, if i was to do this , this would take all the clients out of the internet. any sujjestions?
