Hi,

How do I stop all Domain Users installing software on my XP and 2000 clients? and what’s the best way to implement this over the network.

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great

Cheers,
Sparky

Use the System Policy editor to take away the ability for clients to use the floppy or CD drive. You may have to load the poledit file from the XP disk. If it is anything like 98 you will also have to edit the policy from the xp client.

Thanks tgooman, I was thinking of stopping domain users for changing registry setting. Can you do that through polices if so does anyone know how?

Thanks
sparky
