policies in win2k server

My policies settings cannot work in groups policies that I setup on my network.

I do it exactly the way I should based on the win2k server and the active directory services book of win2k but they still don't work.

What do I do ? ..... because I desperatly don't know what to do anymore.

Did you put on the settings of every policy on the security tab "apply group policy " ?

HI,

First thing if you think you have set up Group Policies
correctly - check DNS settings - have you got DNS set up correctly are your clients pointing to a DNS server.

If this is ok check above as suggested.
Try and run gpresult (from 2000 resource kit)on the client see if the policies are applied.

If not post some more details on your set up and we can go through the steps with you in detail. e.g are you applying computer/user policies? Are you applying through security groups ? domain or OU policies ?
