Poking around website error logs - translate_c

Here's hoping you all had a great long weekend break.

I took the time to look at the error logs on one of the websites I manage (as you do). I was specifically interested to see a LOT of errors in my error log file concerning translate_c.

Basically a particular path is being hit: /thumbs/.104/.104/translate_c

I've managed to narrow this down to something from the Google side of things. Is anyone able to give some more information on this? Is there any action I can (should) take to prevent it?
