I have a Point to Point standard T1 connect two Magix R4 systems. The main system extensions are 1000 range, the Remote system extensions are 2000 range.

I have gone into the UDP Nonlocal renumber and set the extension range for the opposite systems extension range. Then it asks for the number of dial digits, I put 4 but I'm not sure if that's what it's looking for, then it asks for a route (1-20), which I put 1.

I am using a cross over T1 cable and both sides look like they have a link (no red light, maintenance busy-no.)

I am getting a fast busy tone when dialing the opposite systems extensions. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong.

Thanks in advance,

Tekguy

Suggest you look at faq689-3784. Fast-busy, and no yellow light on module indicates you have not setup PRI, and call is not being routed. There are several program steps you must do. This FAQ should get you going in right direction.
