Is it possible to have a QSIG (or any type of point-to-point) connection between two MX-One PBX's without some type of VoIP router in between. I am missing something here? I have my network equipment (CSU/DSU) setup as a framed E1 link. That is Timeslots 1-15&17-31 are transported as voice data. Timeslot 16 is transported transparently across the G.703 interface and Timeslot 0 is used for framing purposed (G.704). Am I missing something here? What are my options from here?

Thanks again guys.

What MX-One do you have?

To MD or not to MD that is the question

MX-ONE TSW SP2. Got two TLU76 cards at each end of the connection. Thanks for the follow up!

Just a follow up question, will this PBX connection operate over a clear channel (G.703) E1 connection? That is, will the TLU76 interface provide the timing and framing for a point to point connection? Or do I need to purchase additional equipment to frame the connection to G.704 and send to the PBX. I've looked through ALEX but haven't seen anything so far. Thanks again guys!

I am using SHDSL to E1 modems RAD ASMI-52 between two systems, framing in 30 channels the E1 connection.
