I have a table called Attachments. This table is only housing a desktop reference and glossary guide. They are very small. My issue is I want to create 2 buttons. 1 that pulls up each from the table in the database so users can read them. I have them on SharePoint right now but they take a decade it seems to load and end-users are complaining about the wait time to view.

You say you want 2 buttons, but only mention 1? Or am I missing something?

For calling an external file, you could use Application.FollowHyperlink, I believe.

Here's a reference that might give you what you need:

Allen Browne has loads of helpful information on his website. I've referred to it many times.
