Can anybody recommend a database package for my ipaq that link link and update tables in a MS Access database.

Would be good if somebody can recommend what they are using.

Thanks

I use SprintDB Pro. It uses ActiveSync to convert the database from .mdb to .cdb on your PPC, and back again for the PC.

Other programs are:
HanDBase
Visual CE

All have documentation to assist in the converting of the .mdb to be used on the PPC.

Hope this helps

How are you, i thought you where just a expert in the Access formuns, i should just post to you from now on.

A few people have said sprint, what i want to do is have a db on a ipaq where imformation such as name, address is put on the ipaq then when back at the office updates a access db to enable a mail shot to these addresses, can this be done.

Thanks

Hi McFestoe,

I write Access apps for work and others and that is where most my knowledge for Access comes from, but I love my iPaq.

Anyway, if I understand your need, you want to collect a name, address, e-mail address and such on your PPC, then get back home and sync up, start your Access db and be able to send them an e-mail? I see no reason why this can't be done. I have not tried specifically what you are wanting to do, but it should work (at least in my mind it would work). SPrintDB Pro just released an update with some fixes and new features.
