Hi,

I'm using Accpac 5.5.
When trying to do a PO receipt I receive the following errors:
-Expected arrival date is not a legal date value.
-Unable to compute tax.

I think the cause of this error is an expected arrival date of '30/12/1899' in my PO entry screen for that PO.
I tried fixing it in table POPORL but under column 'EXPARRIVAL' it shows the correct date of '20111604'.
Is the PO screen not getting it's data from POPORL? What can I do to receive that PO?

Look at POPORH.EXPARRIVAL.

But it begs the question how that date got there in the first place. Custom integration, or old data?

Thanks for your reply tuba.
I've checked POPORH1.EXPARRIVAL but the date in this field shows the correct date as well - '20111604'

I don't understand where Accpac then gets the other date from if not from the database.

Would you know which calls to activate please?
I tried that with all calls but it's just too much information.

Good idea, although I just found the error.

We use purchasing workflow, on the requisition the date required was earlier than the requisition date, in my case it was in 2010 instead 2011.
Obvioiusly there is no check in PW prior the RQN was submitted, but this caused the error.
I changed POPORL.EXPARRIVAL to a date after the RQN date and was able to receive my PO.
Thanks for your suggestions tuba.
