Po Header History

I need to report unique records from this table with something crystal or access. Macola sql version.. This table contains a header record for every line item on the po. So there are mutiple header header records for one po number...

What is the best way to retrieve the weight from the header records and not duplicate my totals?

Convert the fields hst_dt and hst_tm to a datetime field in crystal, then take the maximum record when grouped by PO #.

Thanks, I see you would be correct in choosing the highest value, since this file is generated from printing purchase orders vs the simple process of purging. As far I I can see.....


So these history files are actually recording purchase order prints vs a history record...

Not being sure what you are trying to report, I will offer a suggestion that we used. Instead of using the POHDRHST table, we used the POORDHDR table. I think it has unique record for each PO raised. I am not in my office to check this out again properly, but that's what I remember.
