PNG Transparency Lost When Changing Div's Opacity

Hi

I have a div that I fade in and out using javacript and the opacity style setting. On the div i have a dropshadow using a PNG as a background and the png transpacency works fine normally.

However when I use Javascript to fade the div to disappear, the next time I fade the div to reappear the transparency in the PNG is lost and it goes solid black.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Its fine in Firefox but IE7 gets the problem.

When fading in / out, instead of going from 0-100%, try going from 1-99%.
