Hello,
We have hundreds of Unix workstations which will be accessing Office2000 on our existing MetaFrame servers.
We are using the Pass Through Client (seamless mode) to give them access to their application set. The users can authenticate through the Windows2000 logon fine, but some can't authenticate when accessing Program Neighbourhood- they get the standard message to check domain, caps lock blah blah. They eventually get in after 3 to 4 attempts. Or if we delete the cached PN files from their profiles they then can gain access.
Someone has mentioned that this may be due to a timeout in Program Neighbourhood after a domain controller has not been reached in a short time.
Does anyone have an idea about this- it is hugely annoying!
